we have had a crazy few months. i feel like the dr.'s office and the hospital are my second home now! it all started in march.......
march: indy has rsv. we take him to the hospital 4x a day for treatments for the next 7 days.
a few colds and earaches between the 2 boys
april: dr says indy has rsv again! i'm not buying it. i felt something else was wrong. i start the detective work with a couple more dr. appointments that month.
may. i go to the dermatologist and my moles have come back as precancerous so she's not checking my moles anymore we're just going to remove ALL of them! fun starts october. i'm still going regularly to the dr.'s to figure out what's wrong with indy.
june: we go to allergist. they find out indy is allergic to grass and has severe asthma. we have to keep him inside for 2 weeks! fun.........
a couple follow ups with the allergist.

and to top off june, jason has been rushed to the ER 2 times and spent a few nights in the hospital for viral menangitis! he came home sunday but was back on tuesday night. his white blood count was 5 times the amount it was in the morning. the doctors don't really know what is going on so i guess we will see. the kids and i are staying at my parents and it has just been crazy! it looks like so far june has taken all the months!
if this blog sounds like i am trying to get sympathy, I AM!! FEEL SORRY FOR ME! just kidding. kind of..... :) i am so sick of the doctors and hospital and sick kids and sick husbands and moles! but we have had so much love and support from everybody. so thank you!

Mel I am so sorry! I miss my infected sister and nephews!;) I hope Jason feels better soon. I can't believe all that you've been through these last couple months. You have handled it all so well though. I don't know how you're doing it. I wish I could be right there with you through all this... I don't like having to stay away from you:( Let me know if there's anything I can do for Jas. Poor guy. Good luck and keep me updated.

are you kidding me? are you sure there's not just some hot doctor who specializes in pediatrics/allergies/ER/eye stuff/moles etc. who you keep going to get looks at? just kidding :) i'm sorry, that is all just crappy stuff.
ps- i think drew may be one of my favorites in swim. he's getting more comfortable in the water, and he really listens and tries to do what i say, even though you know he's so scared... i love him!
WHOA! We should start a support group. I am sick of doctors and all that too!
Really, I do feel sorry for you! It is the worst when you have a sick family! As if regular life isn't hard enough.
I hope you all start feeling better, get taken care of and find some time to rest.

wow Melanie. what a year it has been for you so far. i guess things can't get much worse. jk thats not funny. anyway, i am sorry that you have been dealing with all this nastyness., i hope you all get better soon & can go do something fun. we will be thinking of you.
WHAT!!!!! Is Jason ok? How did he get that? Are the boy's eyes ok? Wow, that is soooo miserable! The water park is right behind the Ogden Athletic club, it is a great little place, if you ever want to go and want a friend, let me know!

Oh my gosh Melanie. That is just awful! You sound like you are being strong about it. Wow, it just sounds so draining. Hope all 4 of you can get well and healthy!

Mel, I am so sorry you guys have gone through so much! You deserve a break! I hope everyone gets better soon and that you can stay away from the dr. for awhile!
