The Polar Express

i can't believe it's almost christmas! jas and i have been wanting to start new traditions of our own. here is one that we started this year that we hope sticks!

An elf came to our house! he rang the doorbell and ran! But he left us all presents and a letter from santa

santa gave us all new jammies. so exciting!!

indy is still not too sure what he thinks of all of us.

after we all got in our jammies we made treats and watched the movie the elf left us. the polar express. drew loved it.

the next morning we woke up and went out to breakfast. all of us in our jammies. drew thought that was great!

well, maybe not.

then we went home and got ready. we decided to go to kangaroo zoo (jason took the whole day off) drew loves it ther. if you have never been there you should totally go. it's so much fun!



after the kangaroo zoo we went to the polar express. santa left us tickets because he wanted to see his drewman! oh i love my boys!

indy's still not sure....santa came and talked to all the kids and gave them a bell.this was such a magical night. it was so so much fun. i really hope we carry it on!

new haircut

a few people wanted me to post a picture of my new haircut. here you go!

ok so i know this is super super lame to add more stuff to why i love jason after i already made a long list but i forgot one of the main reasons i fell in love with him and thought maybe, just maybe i could marry this kid. wanna know? he has a book of rules! not kidding. not just any rules. rules rules. like one that stands out is rule #32 "Under no circumstance should 2 men ever share an umbrella." who wouldn't fall in love with someone who makes up his own book of rules.

4 Years

For a while i didn't think i'd ever get married because i didn't think my perfect man existed. He does and i found him. I love you Jas. Happy 4 year!

I love Jason because....

-he doesn't have a mean bone in his body (except toward cute, innocent bunny rabbits)

-he is such a good dad and the boys love him

-he can always make me laugh

-he has spent money he has been saving to get a tool or toy on me

-he will randomly say "you're hot babe." (no matter what i'm wearing or doing)

-he does not hold grudges

-he doesn't look at other girls. even when i point one out he says "eh, they're ok" even though they are drop dead gorgeous

-he will do anything for me

-he is the hardest worker

-he will say the most hilarious inappropriate things (you'd just have to be there)

-he is so much fun to be with

-he is a manly man

-he is so positive and likes everybody

-he is good at everything he does and is very humble about it

-he's an amazing skiier

-he is very patient

-he is a worthy priesthood holder

-he loves kids

-he loves me

-i love him because i could go on forever about why i love him. i am one lucky girl. thank you for an amazing four years.

i know i say this in every post and it's getting really old BUT drew is getting to be so much fun!! i love it! he's getting to the stage where i can actually play games with him that i enjoy playing too. he loves to play baseball and football. everytime a car drives past he runs to the edge of the lawn and dances for them. it's so dang funny. we have gotten plenty of honks and waves and even made a few new friends. i think this picture looks like maury when he was little, but maybe it's just the eyebrows.

Indy is still just as cute as can be. he is the best little baby. he loves drew and drew can always make him laugh. i love my boys!

i can not wait for halloween! it is one of my most favorite holidays. fall, blankets, soups, smells, mustaches....yes, mustaches. every year my parents throw a halloween party and every year jason somehow ties a mustache into his costume. he starts growning it the end of september so by the time halloween is here it is long and nappy. i can't say i love this tradition of his, but it is always really funny. i am amazed how every year someone i find so handsome can look so disgusting. last year he was a lunch lady and it took me months to get the image out of my head. here is the mustache in progress and last years costume. it still makes me feel a little sick to my stomach when i see it.

today i have been trying to organize our pictures and i keep coming across pictures i have forgotten about. this one i could not resist. we found these man size footsie pjs 2 years ago and bought them for our cousin christmas party where we do a white elephant. i could not stop laughing when i saw them and somehow convinced jason to try them on. how is a man in glow in the dark space pajamas not funny? it was really the most hilarious thing i have ever seen and could not stop laughing. i hope jason doesn't mind but it wouldn't be right if i kept these pictures to myself. sorry jas!

i love my indy!

indy is two months old! i can't belive it. time flies. he has been so much fun. really. he is just a fat happy little guy. he is already sleeping 10-12 hours a night (but we have earned it since drew is just now starting to sleep through the night) drew loves him. he loves to lay on him and poke him and wake him up. fun. i can't believe how fast my two boys are growing up! drew says the funniest things! but only funny for a two year old. for example... "it's not my problem mom" and "whatever " have become 2 of his favorite sayings. hmmmm. it won't be so funny 10 years from now i'm sure, so we try really hard not to laugh at his brattyness (although i might be just a little bit proud that he has some of his mom in him) back to indy, he is just a sweet kicked back little guy who always has a smile for mommy and has been so much fun to have around. i swore i was done having kids when i was pregnant with him but now i'm thinking i'll take ten more! just kidding. kindof.

six more weeks

it has been forever since i last updated this! i'm a terrible blogger! not much has been happening lately i've got six weeks before baby indy and we have nothing ready! at least we have six weeks... i have to admit i am the worst pregnant person EVER! i HATE being pregnant. i love drew and am so excited to meet indy but i really do hate being pregnant. i try to be positive about it but i can't. it sucks! only six more weeks.....ugh. drew is getting so big and so much fun. he says the funniest things. he's such a stud. some of his favorite conversation starters are "mommy how's your day?" "hi mommy nice to meet you" and "MARE! AHHHH" him and mare have the most twisted relationship. it is so funny to watch them because drew LOVES to bother mare and as hard as mare tries to fight back, drew usually wins. that's my boy! he's such a little tease. i love him! sometimes i wonder if it will be possible to love another one as much but i know i will. jason is so cute with our little drewman. they are becoming best buddies. drew loves going to the "man store" (home depot) with daddy and help him outside. i feel so blessed to have my little family. i couldn't ask for anything more!

scary!

so, last night i was home alone and i heard this huge BANG! it freaked me out! i called my husband and he called our neighbor to come check it out. he looked everywhere, he went downstairs to discover our downstairs window was wide open! scary! i went straight to my sisters house and waited for my husband to come get me. i didn't sleep at all last night i was so scared!

drew is getting to be so dang funny! the other day when jason got home, he gave me a hug and a kiss. drew caught us and did not hold back "EW YUCK! GROSS!" so of course jason kisses me again and drew got a very concerned look on his face and said in a really sad voice "don't do that daddy. it makes Jesus sad" he cracks us up. it's so crazy how somebody so little has such a big personality. lately he has been obsessed with cinderella (please someone tell me that's normal) and the temple. today my mom, sister and i drove past the ogden temple and drew said "i marry cinderella in temple mommy" that made my day and i've told that story at least 5 times already. i could not imagine my life without drew or jason. i love them so much and i am so grateful that jason works so hard so i can stay home with drew.

valentines

i had one of the best valentines day ever! jason came home from work and took drew and me to the best indian restaurant i have ever been too. (thanks karsten and lindsey!) it was so good i had the left overs for breakfast and we already have plans to go this week. after that we went to the junction and took drew bowling. it was a blast. drew had so much fun. he was hilarious, i wish i had a camera. he would roll the ball, bend down and say "go ball! go ball!" then as soon as it would get to the pins he would jump up and down( whether he hit any pins or not) and give jason and me high fives. so cute! the rest of the night was spent chasing drew around the junction. it was so much fun. i love being with my boys. thank you jason for such an awesome night. it couldn't have been any better!

our tv has been "broken" for the past couple of days and drew has found other ways to entertain!

here we go...

here are six things about me you might not know.

1. i have been told by more than one person they think i'm really an 80 year old trapped in my body. But who doesn't enjoy puzzles, long games of monopoly, reading, wheel of fortune, crosswords, and frank sinatra. AND everybody does get lonely mare.

2. i can go 3 days and 2 nights eating nothing but candy and drinking soda. proven fact. new record to be set winter of 08 after baby#2.

3. i'm pregnant with baby#2. boy, due in july. name, indy kent warnes.

4. i CAN NOT sleep in. no matter what time i go to bed i am up by at least 7:00 (usually earlier) it drives jason crazy when we go on vacation because he loves to sleep in and i get lonely.

5. i am obsessed with my little boy. i think he is the coolest, sweetest, funniest, cutest little guy ever. (he takes after his dad) i think about him all the time, dream about him, miss him while he's asleep. yes, i know, crazy. i love him and jason so much. there is nothing i'd rather do than be with the 2 of them. i don't even care what we're doing!

6. i HATE running. yes, running is the cool thing to do nowadays and i have tried countless times to be cool by "liking to run" but i HATE it and i'm never doing it again.

i have put off starting a blog because i feel i don't have much to write about. then i realized all these cute things drew has been doing and saying and i can't remember them long enough to tell jason when he gets home for work. this will be so good to help me remember and to stay in better touch with my fam! (even my little sis started one!) i am technically retarted so this is going to be interesting!
